Job Description
The role of the Window Tinter is to independently tint any type of vehicle and/or assist with any architectural installation at a professional level. The installer is responsible for all aspects of the tint jobs including, but not limited to computer cut films with a plotter, hand cutting templates, film removal, decision making and problem solving. Additionally the Window Tinter understands different film qualities, characteristics, and applications and is able to communicate this information to customers.
Duties and responsibilities
- Be able to tint at a professional level and capable of completing quality tint jobs in a timely manner
- Be able to recommend films based on customers’ needs and circumstances
- Cross-sell and up-sell products and services
- Bring a positive attitude to work everyday
- Provide excellent customer service
- Greet customers in a timely, professional and engaging manner
- Ensure the team as a whole is successful by be willing and able to help other team members with shop projects and duties
Qualifications
- 1+ year of film installation experience required
- High School Diploma
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Ability to positively and proactively handle customer concerns
- Ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of reliability, accountability and initiative
